Here’s a song from “Kingdom of the Sun”, the film that was ultimately retooled to become “The Emperor’s New Groove.” The film was originally a full-on musical with songs by Sting. The clip features an early version of Yzma (originally animated by Andreas Deja) singing a catchy tune with some interesting visuals. There’s some interesting behind the scenes footage interspersed with some pencil test footage of the original scene.

This clip is an excerpt from the documentary on the film, “Sweatbox”, which has been under lock and key for some time and was recently leaked online.

Oh sweet Jesus I’ve been dying for this to leak (especially this sequence because this is my favorite Disney villain song, even as-is) and FINALLY. I have homework to finish first but THEN I’ll watch the entire thing. This bit looks great, especially the ending which is kinda exactly how I visualized it in my head.

I absolutely love The Emperor’s New Groove as it was finalized, but I still mourn the loss of Sting + Disney. Fuck the haters, I love Sting (if you can’t tell by my blog name).

Skyward Sword OST-Silent Realm [Faron Woods]

I’m at the end of the game and I don’t really understand why everyone spazzed about the Silent Realms.  I failed the first two realms one time each (and for Eldin Volcano, I had gotten all of the tears no problem…but then was seen by a Watcher, and couldn’t deactivate the Guardians since I had already collected all the tears), but got through the second two on the first go.  *shrug*  The music is gorgeous though.
